1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Tilt SAMS (“the Platform”), operated by Tilt SAMS (“Tilt”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, students, education advisors, and institutional administrators.
2. Description of Service
Tilt SAMS is a student admission and management platform that connects international students with CRICOS-registered Australian education providers. The Platform provides document management, application tracking, advisor communication, and payment processing services to facilitate the student application process.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
- You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorised access.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Documents & Content
- You retain ownership of all documents and content you upload to the Platform.
- By uploading documents, you grant Tilt a limited licence to store, process, and share your documents with the education providers and advisors involved in your application.
- You must only upload authentic, unaltered documents. Uploading fraudulent or falsified documents is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination and legal action.
- Supported file formats include PDF, DOCX, JPG, and PNG with a maximum file size of 10MB per file.
5. Application Services
Tilt facilitates the application process but does not guarantee:
- Admission to any education provider or course.
- Specific processing timelines — these are determined by the education provider.
- The availability of any particular course or institution.
Admission decisions are made solely by the education provider. Tilt's role is to facilitate the process and provide support through dedicated advisors.
6. Fees & Payments
- Service fees are displayed before you proceed with an application.
- All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
- Payments are processed through our secure payment provider.
- Refund policies are outlined at the time of payment and may vary by service.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information or documents.
- Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Interfere with the security or functionality of the Platform.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
8. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, code, logos, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is the property of Tilt SAMS and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Tilt SAMS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for services in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease, but we may retain certain data as required by law or described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or in-platform notification.
